Cell Motility of C2C12 Myoblasts on DPN-Patterned Lines

The NLP 2000 System was used to pattern lines of laminin (green) and fibronectin (red) extracellular matrix proteins onto epoxy coated glass coverslips. After blocking of the substrate to prevent non-specific cell binding, cells were added and attached to the patterned lines. Cell motility of C2C12 myoblasts was tracked over a period of 18 hours. Tracks are 500 micron long, 20 micron wide and spaced approximately 120 micron from each other, but can be patterned with arbitrary length, width and spacing.
