"DPN 5000 Dip Pen Nanolithography System Features and Applications"
March 2009 - Tom Levesque, VP of NanoFabrication Systems Division

AZoM's Cameron Chai catches up with Tom Levesque from NanoInk to hear about the DPN 5000 Dip Pen Nanolithography System - Features and Applications.

Tom Levesque from NanoInk shows us through the DPN 5000 dip pen nanolithography system from NanoInk. The DPN 5000 was launched at Pittcon 2009. The DPN 5000 is aimed at researchers and developers. It can use up to 55,000 tips to write over an area of 1 square centimeter. It also includes full AFM capabilities and incorporates a completely new scanner design compared to previous models and comes in an environmental chamber.

"NLP 2000 Dip Pen Nanolithography System Features"
March 2009 - Tom Levesque, VP of NanoFabrication Systems Division

AZoM's Cameron Chai catches up with Tom Levesque from NanoInk to hear about the NLP 2000 Dip Pen Nanolithography System from NanoInk - Features.

Tom Levesque from Nanoink takes us for a tour of the latest dip pen nanolithography system from NanoInk. The NLP 2000 was launched at Pittcon 2009. The NLP 2000 uses multiple ink wells and cantilevers to deposit various inks simultaneoulsy and has a large area sample stage for handling large substrates. It also features a 5 axis stage to deal with substrates that are curved.

"The Latest Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN) Developments"
December 2008 - Tom Levesque, VP of NanoFabrication Systems Division

AZoM's Cameron Chai catches up with Tom Levesque from NanoInk to hear the latest Dip Pen Nanolithography (DPN) development.

Tom tells us about the upcoming DPN 5000 system product that is not due for release for a few months. The DPN 5000 takes over where the other NanoInk NSCRIPTOR DPN system product left off. It incorporates a new scanner design particularly optimized for lateral force miccroscopy which is imortant to nanolithography applications. The DPN 5000 system is suited to applications in biology such as creating substrates and patterned media.

"The Latest Developments - 2007 MRS Fall Meeting Interview"
November 2007 - Tom Levesque, VP of NanoFabrication Systems Division

AZoM conducted a series of interviews at the 2007 MRS Fall Meeting in Boston between November 27 and 29. Here's what one of the exhibitors had to say when asked about their latest developments, products and technologies.

Tom explains what Dip Pen Nanolithography is and its origins. He then introduces us to the NSCRIPTOR System which features a 2-dimesional print array with 55,000 cantilevers. These devices are used create customized nanostructures and nanosurfaces in various environments. Examples may include depositing proteins or DNA onto surfaces for drug discovery or cellular mobility studies.

"Recent Exiciting Developments - 2008 Interview"
2008 - Jason Haaheim, Sr. R&D Engineer

AZoNano's Cameron Chai catches up with Jason Haaheim from NanoInk to hear about their recent exciting developments.

Jason describes what Dip Pen Nanolithography or DPN is and provides us with in insight to who the users of NanoInk's unique technology are. He also gives us an indication of how close commercial applications for DPN really are. Jason also introduces us to the DPN Community which NanoInk have established to bring the users of DPN together. The various features and goals of the DPN Forum are outlined, such as the ability of users to share their wisdom so that they can more rapidly evolve the technology. We also hear about the first meeting of DPN users that took place at NSTI Nanotech 2008 and some of the DPN technologies nearing commercialization.
