Business Development Partnerships
NanoInk's business development team identifies opportunities to utilize DPN® and NanoEncryption™ technology in new and existing products, and seeks partnerships with companies that have the ability to effectively market, build, and distribute such products. The partnerships will provide multiple revenue streams and are similar to other partnerships that occur in the Life Sciences industry. NanoInk will grant industrial partners the rights to use the DPN process, on an exclusive basis, within a narrow industrial field-of-use, or for the development of a specific product. NanoInk will provide R&D support to speed and enhance product development. Industrial partners will typically pay NanoInk milestone fees during co-development, as well as fees for technology licenses and exclusivity provisions.
DPN is a uniquely flexible nanofabrication process, but it will inevitably require optimization and new applications. By co-developing products, industrial partners leverage NanoInk's unmatched DPN experience, their library of materials, NSCRIPTOR™ and Pen and Ink delivery designs. The co-development period is necessary not just for product development, but also for the refinement of specialized DPN systems and patterning materials. NanoInk shares in the risk of co-development and helps partners get to market rapidly and cost-effectively.
